Dear Parents & Students,

New Life’s Online Credit Recovery Program for the 2010-11 school year has three options that are available for most students. For options 1 & 2, teachers are available during the day to assist the student with questions.

Option #1: Work at Home*
To work at home, an accessible PC with internet connection is required. (2) CDs: the Installation CD & the Course CD, are provided along with the installation guide. Upon receipt, both CDs are to be returned the next day. [Credit will not be given if the CDs are not returned].

The assignments are posted within the program with helpful due dates to keep the student on track. Parents are able to track the work in progress; however, no more than 1 week will be allowed to pass by without any productivity. [Please be aware that PC problems not connected to the program can affect the final grade if the assignments are not completed by the last day of the session.]

*If your child has worked at home before with consistent problems, this option is not available.

Option #2: Work at School
Students can work on their course, in the computer lab, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm; and in most instances, during their Study Hall, which provides another hour – 1 ½ hours to work.  

Option #3: Public School night school classes
Please be mindful that if this is chosen, your son/daughter must earn a minimum of an 80 to receive credit by the Academy, and no more than 3 classes outside of the Academy will be accepted for credit.
