Q: Is New Life expensive?
A: New Life Christian Academy has one of the lowest tuition rates in San Antonio. Our tuition is broken-up into twelve monthly payments starting in June. This makes NLCA a low-cost, high-return investment in your child’s life.
Q: Is there any additional financial help available?
A: New Life Christian Academy offers a small discount for families with multiple children.
Q: I’m not sure my child can handle the rigorous academics of private schooling.
A: We use the internationally acclaimed A Beka curriculum for the elementary levels. It is a strong academic program that recognizes that God gave us an incredible brain to do wonderful things. Although an advanced program, most children adjust to their academic responsibilities and do very well. Many of our students in the past, upon entering the public school, were placed in honors programs due to the fine training they received. In addition, many high school seniors, who once attended New Life Christian Academy, have graduated with honors and been recognized for their academic achievements.
Q: My child and I are not Christians. Does that mean my child cannot attend NLCA?
A: You or your child need not have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in order to attend. Many children from different faiths have enrolled here. However, we do teach Bible as a core subject and the students are required to memorize Bible verses. We also do participate in weekly chapel services. In addition, the curriculum weaves our Lord [Jesus] into every subject since we believe in Him as the Creator of all.
Q: My child has been in the public schools for several years. Is it too late to enroll them at NLCA?
A: Students are accepted through the end of the 1st semester of their 12th grade year. As with most investments, the earlier you start, the better your success rate. However, many of our children have successfully transferred from public schools and are enjoying New Life Christian Academy’s family and spiritual environment. Enrolling your son/daughter at New Life Christian Academy will help them to develop a firm foundation: spiritual, academic, and socially.
Q: How does your pre-school program compare to others in San Antonio?
A: Our pre-kinder classes are one of the finest programs in town. We have a strong academic program mixed with lots of fun activities. The four-year old class begins to read one-syllable words in January of each year.
Q: My child has special needs. Can New Life Christian Academy accommodate them?
A: Our goal is for your child to reach their fullest potential in the best setting possible. Therefore, we review each application on a case-by-case scenario.
Q: How safe is New Life Christian Academy?
A: Safety is one of our top priorities. New Life Christian Academy takes all necessary measures to ensure that each student is safe on campus.
