God really likes us
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation. Psalms 149:4
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. Isaiah 49:15-16
But something separated us
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity;
and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 51:5
Therefore, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12

He who trusts in his own heart is a fool,
But whoever walks wisely will be delivered. Proverbs 28:26
The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9
We can't save ourselves
As it is written:
“There is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6
God did something about it
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Through Christ for us
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:18-19
Be reconciled to God
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Romans 5:10-11
Receive God's love & invitation
“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the LORD,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:11-12
Would you pray?
And invite God into your heart today? In your own words acknowledge that you have sinned (we all have) and let Christ know that you believe that he died on the cross for you and that he resurrected on the third day for your justification.
Ask the Lord for forgiveness and for Him to grant you the grace to turn from sin with your actions. Receive and accept the love and forgiveness that comes from your heavenly Father and ask Him into your heart.
If you have done this, congratulations on your first steps!!!. Next steps can be found in Acts 2:37-39.
We would love the opportunity to go over this with you, and help you grow in your relationship with God. Please contact us via chat or email.
